We are 'car people' like you probably are. In the plethora the automotive products that will do this or that, we found no truly effective products to protect car doors and fenders from "self-inflicted damage" (the worst kind) -- that is, scratching or denting our own cars by our own (or a family member's) accidental use of doors when parked side-by-side in a garage. Like in the old saying: 'Necessity is the mother of invention", we believe there has always been a need for a reasonably-priced means of preventing damage to our cars when they should be securely parked in our garage.
